NSALAB specialists took part in developing a task for the WorldSkills Germany Competition

NSALAB developed 2 out of 4 modules of the test project for the WorldSkills Germany in the skill of “Network and System Administration”, which was hosted at the German division of Computacenter. These modules were solved by the participants remotely on the laboratory's infrastructure.

“Our last year's successful experience showed the colleagues from other countries that it is possible to provide the participants with an isolated infrastructure of any complexity in the absence of resources at the competition venue”, says Aleksandr Gorbachev, the head of the laboratory. “We were glad to support our German colleagues in organizing such an event and gain experience in scaling our solutions to a larger number of users. I would like to mention that the event organizers interact with business and attract experts from specialized companies, such as Cisco Systems and Linux Professional Institute to develop tasks".

WorldSkills Germany was held as part of the selection of candidates for the national team at the WorldSkills International Competition, which will be held in Kazan on 22–27 August. About 1,600 young professionals from more than 60 countries will compete in 56 skills.

13 participants from different regions of this country competed for the right to represent Germany at the WorldSkills International 2019 Competition. NSALAB student Vladislav Tetyushkin also took part in the preparation for the international competition.
