NSALAB team took the first place in the AWS Jams hackathon

AWS Cloud Computing
AWS re:Invent is a large-scale training conference organized annually by Amazon Web Services. In addition to a rich program that includes reports and thousands of technical sessions, cloud engineers from around the world have the opportunity to participate in the AWS Jams hackathon.

AWS Jams is a series of fascinating tasks that encourage cloud engineers to improve their skills in working with AWS and partner services using practical real-life scenarios. These scenarios have different levels of difficulty and associated scores. At such jams, teams learn to identify their key strengths and areas for improvement. The range of technologies is quite wide: troubleshooting, automation, forensics, incident response, AI/ML, DevOps, security, networking and many more.

The NSALAB team took part in the AWS Jams hackathon as part of re:Invent 2021 and won the first place among 454 teams from around the world by solving all 24 tasks the fastest and scoring a maximum of 3,660 points. It was all with the help of Anton Polikasov, a member of the “Young Professionals” national team in the skill of “Cloud Computing”, as well as the winner of many industrial certificates in AWS technologies and the bronze medalist of the WorldSkills Euro.
